Summer Concert Series: PanNeubean Steel (Steel Drum)
Enjoy free live music and family fun. PanNeubean Steel showcases the Steelpan’s versatility across Caribbean, Afro-Caribbean, jazz, soul, fusion, and classical styles, delivering uplifting and culturally rooted musical experiences. Come early for Boston Music Project’s Instrument Petting Zoo!

Summer Concert Series: Dub Apocalypse (Reggae/Dub)
Enjoy free live music and family fun. Dub Apocalypse is a Boston-based instrumental dub reggae band known for their heavy grooves, soulful guitar work, and free jazz-infused improvisation. Come early for Boston Music Project’s Instrument Petting Zoo and Miss Lauren’s children’s activities!

Community Heat Break hosted by Northeastern
Northeastern is partnering with the City of Boston—including Emergency Management, the Environment Department, and the Parks Department—along with the Boston Public Health Commission to host this Heat Break event.
The event offers relief during high-heat afternoons with Del’s lemonade, activities, music, swag, and valuable resources to help you stay cool and safe this summer.

Summer Concert Series: Fifth Season Quartet (Jazz)
Enjoy free live music and family fun. Fifth Season Quartet plays a vibrant fusion of contemporary jazz, classical influences, and Eastern European folk, led by vocalist Elena Koleva and pianist/accordionist Plamen Karadonev. Featuring original works and inventive arrangements, the program showcases rich harmony, odd meters, and global textures. Come early for Boston Music Project’s Instrument Petting Zoo and Miss Lauren’s children’s activities!

Enjoy free live music and family fun. Boston Music Project showcases talented Boston Public School high school students participating in a summer music apprenticeship. This innovative program gives students real-world experience recording albums and producing live performances. Enjoy free live music and family fun. Booty Vortex has some of the finest, baddest, funkiest musicians around and are ready to bring you a party you won't forget!! The timeless disco, funk songs will have you shakin' what yo' mama gave ya! Grab your dancing shoes from the back of the closet and get ready to dance and spend some time in the Vortex! Experience the unique charm of Rosalita’s Marionette Puppets featuring marionettes made by professional actor-puppeteer Charlotte Anne Dore. Performance starts at 11 a.m.

Enjoy free live music and family fun. The Doghouse Allstars are a powerhouse blues band known for their gritty guitar licks, soulful sax, and infectious, foot-stomping rhythm. The band brings raw energy and deep grooves to every performance. Their electrifying live shows blend timeless blues with a funky edge. Come early for Boston Music Project’s Instrument Petting Zoo!

Summer Concert Series: Eva Davenport (R&B Soul)
Enjoy free live music and family fun. Eva Davenport is a soulful vocalist, and songwriter based in Boston, blending R&B, reggae, and pop influences into a sound that’s uniquely her own. A Berklee College of Music graduate, Eva uses her voice and lyrics to uplift and inspire, often weaving messages of empowerment and unity into her performances. Come early for Boston Music Project’s Instrument Petting Zoo and Little Groove Music.

Summer Concert Series: Diane Blue (R&B/Blues)
Enjoy free live music and family fun. Boston’s Diane Blue is a powerhouse blues vocalist and harmonica player known for her soulful performances and magnetic stage presence. She’s the first female member of Ronnie Earl and the Broadcasters, featured on six of their acclaimed albums and co-writing several tracks. Come early for Boston Music Project’s Instrument Petting Zoo and Miss Lauren’s children’s activities.

Summer Concert Series: Reckoners (Rock/Soul)
Enjoy free live music and family fun. Reckoners is a Boston-based all-star music group assembled by guitar player extraordinaire Johnny Trama. Reckoners features Tim Gearan fronting the band on lead vocals and guitar. Their music is of the R&B / Soul / Funk / Rock variety. Come early for Boston Music Project’s Instrument Petting Zoo!

Enjoy free live music and family fun. The summer concert series kicks off on June 4th with Boston artist Will Dailey. Come early for Boston Music Project’s Instrument Petting Zoo—kids can explore real instruments with teaching artists. Bring a blanket, grab local takeout, and enjoy a great night of music!

Love Your Block Spring Clean Up
The Friends of Titus Sparrow Park will host a cleanup in partnership with the Office of Civic Organizing as part of the citywide “Love Your Block” initiative. Neighbors of all ages are invited to enjoy refreshments, storytime hosted by Parkside Bookshop and help prepare our park for the beautiful weather to come!
Easter Egg Hunt & Celebration
We’re thrilled to bring back the famous Friends of Titus Sparrow Park Easter Egg Hunt! We will have over 7,000 eggs for the kids to find, crafts, play stations by PLAY Boston, and word on the street is…the Easter Bunny might make an appearance!

Youth Tennis Clinic with Hill House
In honor of Titus Sparrow’s passion for tennis and inspiring young people, we’re excited to announce a special partnership with Hill House Boston to offer free tennis clinics for children ages 5–12. Registration is required.

Bark in the Park
Join the Friends of Titus Sparrow Park for a fun-filled morning with treats from Polkadog, free nail clippings from D’Tails Pet Boutique, tennis balls, socializing, and giving back to the Animal Rescue League (ARL)!
