Volunteer
The Friends of Titus Sparrow Park are always seeking volunteers. This is a great opportunity for you to get involved, meet a group of active neighbors and enjoy the outdoors. Join one of our committees and keep our park the wonderful place that it is.
How can you help as a volunteer?
Summer Concerts - identify great local bands
Summer Children's Programs - recommend performers and hand out snacks
Capital Projects & Park Improvements - put your ideas into action
Fundraising - gain support for park programs and improvements
Graphic Design - create flyers, postcards and banners for park events
Seasonal Park Clean Ups - help rake, sweep, weed and plant
Easter Egg Hunt - many hands are needed to stuff eggs and more
Halloween Pre-Trick-or-Treat Party - volunteer at the hospitality table
Winter Christmas Carolling Party - sing and be merry
Children's Tennis Lessons - coordinate with Tenacity
Teen Basketball Clinic - teach skills and organize games
Dogs - keep them leashed and curbed
Sand - keep it in the sandbox
Public Outreach - spread the word
Horticulture - for those with a green thumb
